HOW IT WORKS
Find it, understand it, plan around it.
The site connects Kansas communities with structured local listings so people can move from discovery to a useful plan.
1. Start with a community
Each incorporated Kansas community has a dedicated page. Community pages collect approved local listings and community information in one place.
2. Browse real listings
Restaurants, attractions, places to visit, shops, lodging, deals, and events are stored as individual directory records. Listing pages connect back to their community and category.
3. Check the source
Listings can include official websites, addresses, hours, dates, photos, and other available details. Because local information changes, visitors should verify time-sensitive details before traveling.
4. Build a trip
The trip planner uses the site's structured inventory to build itineraries around a destination and user preferences. Saved trips are available to signed-in users.
5. Help improve the guide
People can submit factual local information. Business and community management is handled through separate claim workflows so the public directory can remain useful while authorized people help keep records current.
